A minor league institution whose product was on par with that of the Major Leagues, the Pacific Coast League’s San Francisco Seals are well remembered for graduates such as DiMaggio, Gomez and Averill, as well as for attire like this game-worn jacket. Likely worn during the 1940s, this uniqely scarce olive-colored wool button-down garment features vintage “Wilson” tagging. For a more detailed listing, please visit our website.

The olive-colored wool button-down garment features “SEALS” sewn atop the back in red felt. Red-and-white striped stretch ribbed cotton lines the collar and sleeve endings, while the collar’s interior is home to a “Wilson” label and a size “40” flap tag. All original with no repairs or alterations, the Bay Area gamer shows fabulous wear with perspiration-induced soiling about the collar and sleeve endings, as well as a few scattered tiny holes.
