Description

Familiar with Joplin, Missouri from his minor league tour of duty with the Miners, Mickey Mantle made it big in the Bronx and returned to the Show Me State to open a restaurant at the Holiday Inn. This 13-3/4 x 9-3/4” paper placemat hails from that eatery and is autographed by both Mantle and teammate Whitey Ford. The ballpoint pennings both project (“9-10”) strength.
