Description

Milwaukee Braves backers going on a bidding warpath for this vintage assortment of cards and ephemera highlighted by a 1957 Spic and Span near set (15/20) with Aaron, Mathews and Spahn average (VG to VG-EX) with deference to pinholes on the corners which do not affect the images. Complete list on our website.

This lot comes from the personal collection of Dick Luther, a venerable Wisconsin basketball coach who has associated with and befriended countless athletes over the years. One of four Luther lots in our current auction, these vintage original materials are being offered for the first time as the coach is liquidating his lifetime collection. Please see the Other Sports-Auto Racing and Basketball-Autographs categories for the other three lots.
