Detailed description on website.

Victims in the biggest upset in World Series history, the Baltimore Orioles were not about to endure “bridesmaid” status the following year. Pacing the circuit in runs scored, on-base percentage, complete games and team ERA (among other categories), the 1970 Birds won their last 11 regular seasons games, swept the ALCS and won the first three games of the World Series to extend their winning streak to 17 straight. After a Game 4 setback, the O’s bounced back the next day in a convincing 9-3 triumph to claim their second world title in five years. Capturing the majesty of that roster, artist Mark Freeman composed this original collage entitled “’70 WORLD CHAMPION.” Measuring 40-1/8 x 30-1/8”, the thick poster board canvas is home to color portrayals of Belanger, Blair, Buford, Cuellar, Etchebarren, Johnson, McNally, Palmer, Powell, Richert, B. Robinson, F. Robinson and Weaver.
