Description

Detailed description on website.

Outspoken during his tours of duty on the field and in the broadcast booth, Jimmy Piersall enjoyed a 17-year Major League playing career during which he launched 104 home runs (and ran the bases backwards after No. 100). This Hillerich & Bradsby (37-oz/36”) “U1” signature model bat was brandished by the oft-colorful and competitive star during his storied career. Turned during the 1961-1964 labeling period, the uncracked white ash war club features a flare knob and shows moderate game use with ball and stick impressions about the barrel, as well as scoring along the handle.
