Description

In sequential shockers, Johnny Keane turned in his resignation following the St. Louis Cardinals’ 1964 World Series conquest, then took the helm of the Yankees for that club’s first losing season since 1925. Among the tougher baseball scriptings, Kean’s cut signature is decidedly powerful on this coveted display. Matted to 8x10, a scrap of approximately 3-1/2”-long is signed by Keane (d.1967) in blue ballpoint (“9” strength. Accenting the display is a black-and-white photo of Keane. JSA cert/sticker.
