Overlooked in conversation (and even in the history books), the 1929-1931 Philadelphia Athletics dynasty was arguably more dominant than the Yankee juggernaut it overtook. This OAL Barnard ball is autographed by (20) members of the 1929 installment. The creamy orb features black ink scriptings that range between (“6”) and (“3”) in terms of potency. Highlights include: Collins, Foxx, Grove, (2) Mack and Simmons. Full photo LOA from JSA. More on our website.

Sweet Spot: unidentified and Grove (“3” strength); North Panel: Boley, Collins (“3” strength), B. Miller, Perkins, unidentified and Simmons (“4-5” strength); South Panel: Cochrane (clubhouse), Bishop, Mack (manager, “5” strength), Foxx (“4-5” strength) and Earnshaw; West Panel: Orwall, Mack (repeat signature, “5” strength) and Walberg; East Panel: Rommel, Dykes, Summa, unidentified, Quinn and unidentified.

Accompanying is a vintage OAL Barnard "Reach" box (presents nicely, missing lid).
