"Sarge" holds the distinction of having pitched the final out (and thus picking up the save) in both the 1951 and 1952 World Series. A few years earlier, he was a top candidate for Rookie of the Year voting when he broke in with the Chicago White Sox and posted a 10-6 record. Hailing from the pivotal season when DiMaggio passed the Yankee torch to Mantle, Kuzava's watch measures 1-1/2 x 7/8" and features "NEW YORK YANKEES 1951" on the face with "WORLD CHAMPS" forming the hours of the day. Yet the back is equally as appealing with a sensational Yankees top hat logo engraving sandwiched by the maker "HAMILTON" and "ROBERT L. KUZAVA." Fully operable EX/EX-MT condition.
