Description

It is indeed fitting that it took two hardbound volumes and a combined 800 pages to pay tribute to Joe DiMaggio and his remarkable career. With text and photos to tell the story, this particular edition is autographed by its heroic Bronx subject. The pristine books contain crisp pages and the thick cardboard sleeve features a color photo of DiMaggio taken during the 1939 season. DiMaggio has signed the likeness in blue marker (“9-10” strength). Auction LOA from JSA.
