Detailed description on website.
Rick Burleson 1980-1983 Signed Game-Used Bat: a Louisville Slugger (35.4-oz/34-1/4”) “U1” signature model weapon signed in blue marker (“9-10” strength) between the center brand and barrel stampings and inscribed “Rooster #7.” The uncracked lumber shows outstanding game use with ball, bat-rack and stitch marks throughout, as well as transposed stampings from OAL baseballs. Additionally, there is extensive scoring about the handle and vintage black marker notations of “7” on the flare knob and barrel end. Auction LOA from JSA (for autograph).
Mike Greenwell 1985 Game-Used Bat: a Louisville Slugger (33.2-oz/33”) “C235” block-letter (last name only) model brandished by Greenwell during his debut season. Solid game use is evident with ball, bat-rack, cleat and deeply embedded stitch marks about the barrel, as well as transposed stampings from OAL Brown baseballs. The handle is home to pine-tar residue and a crack whose length is obscured by an 8-1/2” layer of tape. Greenwell’s number “39” is inscribed on the knob in black marker.
