Though short on wins the 1933 Brooklyn Dodgers were long on colorful players and coaches. Color your collection Dodgers blue with this 1933 team-signed baseball. Though the accompanying LOA is cited with “all underlying signatures have been enhanced by an unknown hand”, this vintage relic is made important by the incredible contingent of original signers, which includes HOFers: A. Lopez, C. Stengel, H. Wilson; and Keys: T. Cucinello, J. Judge, O. Miller, V. Mungo, L. O’Doul, J. Stripp, D. Taylor and F. Thompson. Full photo LOA from JSA. More on our website.
All (21) signatures show boldly on a walnut toned ball which has acquired its even coloring as the result of a vintage coating of shellac. Though the stampings are almost entirely faded, this solid Spalding sphere remains highly pleasing.
