Overshadowed by the exploits of the “M&M Boys,” Moose Skowron clubbed 28 homers and drove in 89 as a member of the 1961 Yankees’ “supporting cast.” This bat was issued to the Bronx Bomber first baseman for use during the 1961 World Series. The Hillerich & Bradsby (32.9-oz/36”) “K55” signature model war club is uncracked with no evidence of game use (though Skowron did perform admirably in that Fall Classic with a home run and a .353 batting average). Full photo LOA from John Taube, PSA/DNA.
